Pictolio Services

Pictolio services are available to the local Wrexham area for any sort of event. Pictolo are willing to:

  • Photograph any sort of event local to the area (i.e. nature walks, fairs, charity events, fundraising days);
  • Take photographs for your business (i.e. your property, your products);
  • Take informal home portraits;
  • Take informal wedding/christening/etc photographs.
  • Restore old photographs to their former glory.

Photography

Other photographers will operate using a 'contact me for rates' procedure, however Pictolio wants to ensure we are honest, and up front with all of our potential clients. There will be an initial £20.00 booking fee (to cover materials and travel expenses), plus a charge of £10.00 per hour during the photography session. There will be a charge for mileage expenses for any events 5 miles outside of our local area (LL13) at a cost of 15p per mile. 25% of the hourly fee will go towards a charity donation.

The local charity of choice is Nightingale House Hospice, and the national charities of choice are Cancer Research UK, and Coeliac UK. You can select which of these three charities you would like the charity donation to go to.

All photographs will be given to you, included in the price, on a CD or DVD. From research some photographers like to charge extra for copies of photographs. Any photographs given to you will also come with a 'note of permission' from Pictolio to allow you to get them printed at any store should you require it.

Photograph Restoration

As well as taking photographs, Pictolio also offers a photograph restoration service. If you have any old photographs; black and white, sepia, or colour; that are in a suitable condition to be scanned or posted to Pictolio, we will endeavour to restore the photograph to its former glory.

Old printed photographs, such as wedding photographs, photographs of your family, etc, can lose colour over time; they can become creased or bent. Our photo restoration service will remove the blemishes, and restore colour (where available) from the photograph enabling you to make new clean prints from old damaged ones.

Fees for photograph restoration will depend on the size of the photograph, and how much attention the photograph will need during the restoration process. All charges will be made on a 'per photograph' basis, and will be inclusive of returning any physical photographs to you via Royal Mail (using the Special Delivery service), as well as receiving the restored photograph on a CD.

Printing and Gift Items

Pictolio can arrange, on request, that photographs (that we have taken, or restored) are printed to any shape/size for you. Pictolio can also arrange for 'gift' items to be produced, such as photo-books, mugs, etc.

There will be an additional fee for this service depending on requirements.
